Brightening the Dispatch's Business Section

Publish Date: 4/8/2008

COLUMBUS, OH – April 8, 2008 -  If you received The Columbus Dispatch this past Saturday, April 5, you were met with the glaring banner announcing the demise of Skybus airlines.  Right above it, an article in the Business Section was previewed with the words “80,000 Jobs Slashed in March.”  By the time you got to Section C10, your head was surely spinning in the midst of the “Recession Talk”, “Jobs Vanish” and “Agency to Close Shop” blurbs that filled the page.

But then, something stands out.  It doesn’t seem quite right.  A headline in the Business Section that seemed positive, even hopeful.  “IT Firm Cashing in on Local Tech Boom”, it reads, and its subject is Quick Solutions, Inc., the company’s steady growth, and expectations to once again double in size over the next ten years.  “Computer related employment in Central Ohio is 39% higher than in other metropolitan areas with similar populations,” the article reports.  It concludes with a quote from CEO, Tom Campbell, who emphasized the constant investment in and shortage of IT talent, and the vast opportunity this provides.

Once again, QSI stands out from the crowd, and anyone who read the article will know:  It’s good to be with Quick.
